Day 17

Gosh, it is hot here, up in the 90s. We have decided to take it easy today so we have only been to a pistachio farm. I now know more about pistachios that I ever thought i would ever need. For example I did not know that there are female trees and male trees and the male trees are much bigger than the female. Apparently pistachios are not native to the US and mainly come from the Middle East. However, they nearly have more here than in the Middle East now. Enough of that. We bought some pistachio cream and some of the best pistachio ice cream I have ever had.

The rest of the day has been spent relaxing and very nice it is too. Just got to find somewhere for dinner tonight, hopefully a nice salad.
